Stay Useful
Terms
Who you are buying from, what you get, what you may do with it, and what it does not promise.
If anything on this page conflicts with your rights under New Zealand law, your rights apply.
Who you are buying from
Avenir AI Limited, a New Zealand company trading as Stay Useful. We are in trade, so the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 apply to what we sell you.
Support: support@stayuseful.co.nz. Privacy: privacy@stayuseful.co.nz. Website: stayuseful.co.nz.
What you are buying
Stay Useful AI Work Kit. A downloadable set of 15 files: a PDF action kit, an XLSX Work Audit, a DOCX workflow workbook, a START-HERE file, a nine-file fictional simulation data pack, and two AI quick-reference guides, with a manifest and a checksum file so you can verify every one of them.
It is a self-guided kit. There is no software, no login, no account, no AI tool and no service. You use whichever AI tool you are permitted to use.
Price and GST
Founding price: NZ$14.99 including GST for the first 100 paid customers. NZ$25 including GST from customer 101.
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST at 15 percent. Nothing is added at checkout. Stripe issues your receipt.
Where we sell
At launch we sell to customers purchasing from New Zealand. We are not yet set up for the tax treatment of cross-border digital sales, and would rather say so than take money we cannot account for properly.
Stripe asks for an address at checkout so it can confirm the country. That is the only reliable way to hold the restriction, and it is the reason a download asks for something that looks like a delivery address. Nothing is posted to you, there is no shipping charge, and no delivery option is offered.
Delivery
Delivery is electronic and immediate. When your payment succeeds we email a secure access link to the address you gave at checkout, and the same link is available on the confirmation page. The link works for 30 days and can be used more than once.
If you lose the email, request a new link at stayuseful.co.nz/access using the address you bought with.
Your licence
- You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the files for your own work, study, job search or business.
- You may print them, fill them in, and use the outputs you create with them however you like. What you produce is yours.
- You may not resell, redistribute, publish, share the download link, or make the files available to anyone else.
- You may not use the files to train a machine learning model for redistribution, or repackage them as your own product or course.
- Using the kit inside one organisation, for more than one person, needs a separate arrangement. Write to support.
What your purchase covers
Your purchase covers the digital files supplied with the Stay Useful AI Work Kit. It does not include a subscription or an ongoing service.
What this is not
- Not a qualification, a certification, an accreditation, or any assessment of your competence. The completion checklist records what you finished, and says so on its face.
- Not consulting, coaching, or a review of your work.
- Not legal, privacy, employment, tax or governance advice.
- Not a guarantee of a job, a promotion, a salary increase, a productivity result, or any business outcome. Nobody can promise those, and we do not.
- Not employer approval for anything you build with it.
What you are responsible for
- Following your own employer, client, or institution policies about AI use, confidential information and academic integrity.
- Deciding what information is safe to put into an AI tool. The kit gives you a governance gate to help you decide; the decision is yours.
- Verifying anything an AI tool produces before you rely on it or show it to anyone.
- Describing your work honestly. The kit is explicit that a simulation must be labelled as one.
If something goes wrong
Write to support@stayuseful.co.nz with the email address you bought with and what the problem is. Support covers delivery, access, and file problems. It does not include reviewing your audit, your workflow, or your PROOF case.
Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act are set out on the Refunds and remedies page and are not limited by anything here.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, and any attempt to do so would have no effect.
Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with the kit is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost opportunity.
If you are acquiring the kit for the purposes of a business, the Consumer Guarantees Act may be contracted out of. We do not contract out of it, but a business buyer should know the distinction exists.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
